Suing an LLC

Suing an LLC
question

Can a limited liability company be sued and what would be the consequences of such action?

answer

Sure, any entity can be sued. If sued, the LLC would have to pay (or take whatever other action is settled/agreed to, or mandated in a judgment). If the amount to be paid exceeds the LLC's assets, the claimant might seek to pierce through the entity to reach the owners' assets to satisfy the claims.
