Residential Real Estate

The topic of residential real estate is something that everyone will become familiar with at one point or another. Buying your first home is a very scary task. By doing all the necessary steps, you can ensure a very easy and less strenuous process. Here are some tips that you can use when it comes to buying residential property:

1. Take the time to shop around for a mortgage.

- You can get a better idea of what you can afford.

2. Try to avoid Sticker Shock.

- Plan for future expenses which includes bills, furnishing, and accessories.

3. Be prepared for the closing of the house.

- This will ensure that you will know exactly what condition you will receive house in.

- Take pictures to ensure quality of the home at purchase date.

4. Listen to your Broker about all the prices.

5. Keep a copy of a HUB1 to ensure all financial transactions.

- This will prevent any overpaid fees, services, and or costs.

6. To qualify for a mortgage, bring all tax returns and bank statements.

- This will be a great benefit to the bank and to you as well.

By following these steps, the task of purchasing a home is simplified, and in turn, will be less stressful in the future. It also minimizes any large conflicts or concerns that may arise in the future if you confront this task again.
