Webinar: Asset Protection for Physicians and their Practices: The Doctor is In—But Where is the Tax and Estate Planning? Part 1 of 2

Doctors and their practices are common targets for terrible and aggressive lawsuits which are commonly based upon bad results from treatment or procedures that have nothing to do with the doctor's skills or actions, and everything to do with the litigation system.

Many advisors are not aware of the ways that physician personally, and medical and other health care practices, can be much better protected than they commonly are from both malpractice and other liabilities.

Many practitioners are also not aware of medical law violations that can often arise, how professionals advising practices need to spot such issues, and how to protect the practice and its physicians against possible whistleblowers, health care plans, and governmental exposures.

This webinar will discuss the structuring of malpractice in insurance and group medical practices, how planning for medical, dental and other professional practices and their owners is different than for other businesses and professions, and also touch on some Section 199A planning techniques where tax savings can go hand in hand with better protecting a physician and her family.

FREE: Checklists and charts that can be used to explain strategies will be made available to all participants. Also, a copy of Mr Gassman's book, Grow Your Medical Practice and Get Your Life Back which was published in 2018 and co-authored with Wall Street Journal best selling author David Finkel and Pariksith Singh, MD will be offered to attendees as a download. The book covers asset protection and practical planning for medical practices.

Speakers: Alan Gassman, Esq. and Martin M. Shenkman, Esq.
